Golden Beach - Praia GrandeKnown as Praia Grande, the sandy area extends beyond the urban area of Armação de Pera, and is delimited to the west by the Alcantarilha Stream and to the east by the Salgados Lagoon, an area of ecological interest sought after by birds of protected species. Because it is not as close to the town as its neighbor Praia de Armação de Pera, Praia Grande is much less frequented, thus offering the immense tranquility of a landscape of dunes and golden sands, bathed by a blue and serene sea, in a landscape as far as the eye can see.
